BATON ROUGE — Candidates for the 3rd Congressional District, which encompasses Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes, have collectively raised roughly $395,000, according to federal campaign-finance reports released last week. But it’s just the beginning. The lead contenders will eventually spend more than that if the 2004 race — the last time the 3rd Congressional District was wide open — is any indication.
